Australian Energy Storage Conference and Exhibition

The scales are tipping in favor of Renewable Energy in Australia, and that is great news for the energy storage sector. In its fifth year, the Australian Energy Storage Conference and Exhibition (AES 2018) continues to adapt to industry opportunities and in striving to do just that, we are pleased to announce that AES 2018 will relocate to the Adelaide Convention Centre, with the Government of South Australia, Adelaide Convention Bureau, and Adelaide Convention Centre joining as Principal Partners.

With multiple utility-scale energy storage installations underway, two utility run virtual power plants, a $5,000 small-scale energy storage rebate, feasibility studies for coastal pumped hydro and the recently announced hydrogen refueling tender, South Australia is truly the hub of energy storage in Australia.

The move to Adelaide ensures visitors and exhibitors are positioned to capitalize on the opportunities available in this state. The redeveloped AES 2018 will see new comprehensive workshops, Pacific Islands deep dive sessions, an expanded social program and a new look exhibition floor. 

For the first time, AES 2018 will include in-depth energy storage site tours to multiple locations in and around Adelaide.  Site tours are exclusive for conference delegates and the elected representative from each exhibitor and will take place prior to the exhibition opening, ensuring maximum attendance on the show floor.
